The faculty of Bharata Natyam is under the expert guidance of Guru Dr. Sucheta Chapekar and Smt. Smita Mahajan. The course is conducted by a team of qualified and dedicated teachers. Admission is given to those who have completed 6 years of age.

What We Offer
Basic course in Bharata Natyam
Duration 6 years. Certificate is given to students who successfully complete the course.
Assessment is conducted
Internal (every 6 months) external (Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya exam annually).
Training for practical and theory
As per syllabus of Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya course is imparted by qualified teachers of the faculty.
Two years of training
For Advanced course (after completion of basic course in Bharata Natyam) and Post graduation courses (Alankar) for Gandharva exams is offered.
Selection of students for Arangetram and training
For the same is imparted by qualified teachers.
Annual faculty program
Annual faculty program is organised in which all the students participate.
Students are given the training and opportunity to perform
Promising students are given the training and opportunity to perform in dance recitals at Kalarang and other festivals.
Workshops
Kalangan also organizes dance workshops by renowned Gurus and study tours for broadening the scope of knowledge of the students.
